Pay What You Can Parking
Welshpool Town Council has introduced a 26-week 'Pay What You Can' parking trial at Church Street Car Park to help support local businesses and encourage more visitors into town.
This scheme applies every Saturday during the trial period between 4th April 2026 and 26th September 2026. It only applies in Church Street Car Park located on Mill Lane.
Parking is free and you do not need to pay anything to use the car park during the trial period. However, if you would like to support the scheme, you can make a voluntary contribution - simply give what you feel comfortable with.
You can donate in a few simple ways:
- Click the button below to donate via card, Apple Pay or Google Pay via GOV.UK Pay, or
- Visit the Information Centre (next to the car park) to use cash or donate via card.
