Welshpool Town Council is pleased to confirm that Vix Davis is the town’s newest councillor representing Castle Ward, following the publication of the official Statement of Persons Nominated by the Returning Officer at Powys County Council.

As she was the only candidate, the poll scheduled for 22 October 2026 will not be contested and Mrs Davis has been declared elected as a community councillor for Welshpool Town Council.

Vix is well known locally for her photography business and her advocacy of women in business.

Welshpool Town Council looks forward to welcoming Cllr Davis to the authority and working together to support the town and its residents.
